Madeira Beach ROC Hosts Top Division 1 Teams. The Madeira Beach’s ROC sports complex is one of three Florida facilities chosen to host this year’s THE Spring Games. Over 500 college softball teams are scheduled to participate in the games, starting on Friday, Feb. 14, and continuing until March 19. THE Spring Games is undoubtedly the largest college softball event in the World.

Over the last 13 years, organizers have worked hard to maximize the volume of the Games in such a way that they provide the best possible early-season training for the teams, coaches, and fans. Division 1 teams from most of the major athletic conferences are scheduled to play at Madeira Beach ROC complex, The Madeira Beach ROC complex is a state-of-the-art recreation facility located on the Intracoastal Waterway. It is located at 200 Rex Place in Madeira Beach.

ROC Park and THE Spring Games

Additional competition in THE Games will be played at Legends Way in Clermont and Boombah Soldier’s Creek in Longwood through March 19 with games scheduled most three-day weekends and during spring break. More on R.O.C. Park (Remember Our Children)

R.O.C. Park along with The City of Madeira Beach, Klingel Family Foundation and Old Salt Fishing Foundation, have started and recently completed the Memorial Pier located at the park. Many families and local businesses have also donated towards the pier and a sponsorship board will be placed at the entrance to recognize them for their generosity.  The park amenities include on-site restrooms, on-site food service, beer garden, waterfront pathways, shaded gazebo, playground area, splash pad, basketball courts, volleyball courts, and tennis courts.

The City of Madeira Beach boasts a state-of-the-art recreation facility located on the Intracoastal Waterway. The R.O.C. Softball Complex includes three (3) 200′ softball fields with warm-up space and batting cages. It has been the home of Melissa “Skeeter” Gentile’s Division I College Softball Event for almost a decade. The Remember Our Children (R.O.C.) Softball Complex was built by Madeira Beach to celebrate the beauty in life and those whom we love. We could not think of a better match for THE Spring Games.
