Dunedin Films in the Park Presents ‘Mary Poppins Returns’. Grab your blanket and picnic basket and head for downtown Dunedin to John R. Lawrence Pioneer Park, 420 Main Street, for a relaxing evening watching a movie under the night sky. Mary Poppins Returns is the third movie in this year’s series of family events on the Friday evenings in October and will be presented on Friday, Oct. 18. The fourth and final movie in this year’s series will be The Mask on October 25. All the Dunedin Films in the Park are free to attend. Concessions will be available for purchase. Happening every Friday in October. Movies begin at dark.

The Mask is a 1994 release, directed by Chuck Russell, starring Jim Carrey, Cameron Diaz, Peter Riegert, Peter Greene. Bank clerk Stanley Ipkiss is transformed into a manic superhero when he wears a mysterious mask. While wearing the mask, mild-mannered Ipkiss becomes a supernatural playboy exuding charm and confidence which allows him to catch the eye of local nightclub singer Tina Carlyle. Unfortunately, under the mask’s influence, Ipkiss also robs a bank, which angers junior crime lord Dorian Tyrell, whose goons get blamed for the heist.
