For “Cocktails and Conversation”
On May 18, 2017 child actor and best-selling author, Melissa Francis, will join Religious Community Services (RCS) for a night of “Cocktails and Conversation.” She will share stories and lessons from behind the scenes in Hollywood and talk about her new book, Lessons from the Prairie. Guests will receive a signed copy of the book. All proceeds from the event will benefit the programs of RCS.
Melissa began her career as a child actor. She has appeared in numerous motion pictures, television series and commercials, but is best known for her role as Michael Landon’s daughter, Cassandra Cooper Ingalls, on Little House on the Prairie. Today Melissa is a Fox News anchor and frequently hosts The Five, Outnumbered, After the Bell, and Happening Now.
“I’m thrilled to support an organization that touches so many lives helping vulnerable families through challenging times,” states Melissa. “RCS is truly a blessing to this community, creating a huge impact each and every day.”
“We couldn’t be more excited to have such an inspirational writer and friend in Melissa Frances, joining us to share her incredible story of hope and courage,” said Kirk Smith, President & CEO of RCS. “We’re looking forward to great conversation and fellowship for all the right reasons.”
RCS has provided Help & Hope to People in Need for 50 years. RCS’s mission is to feed the hungry, help families facing homelessness return to self-sufficiency, and empower survivors of domestic violence. Individuals and families are served with dignity to accomplish this mission at the RCS Food Bank, the RCS Grace House, The Haven of RCS, and the RCS Thrift Store.
Sponsorship opportunities are available and start at $1,000. For more information on “Cocktails and Conversation,” please contact Melissa Reddington at 727-443-4031 ext 513 or [email protected].
