Nature’s Food Patch Teams Up with Licensed Nutritionist for Custom Nutrition Plans
Your local grocer, Nature’s Food Patch Market & Café, has made it easy for customers to receive personalized nutrition consultations and shopping with Registered Dietician, Licensed Nutritionist and Certified Health Coach, Amy Goldweber. Consultations are a game-changer for the family-owned grocery store. In recent years, food allergies and intolerances have been on the rise and more people are becoming aware of what’s in their food and how it affects their health. The store hosts a variety of free seminars and cooking classes in their PaTcHwOrKs Community Room, but this personalized care takes it to the next level.
Store Director Rebekah Santiago said, “I’m really excited about offering this service to our customers. Our classes have been such a hit and this is a significant step in following our vision to serve and inspire our community in order to build a healthier world.” Goldweber specializes in chronic conditions such as kidney disease, diabetes and heart disease and also in nutrition-related conditions from food allergies and intolerances to weight release, exercise, and stress-reduction. In addition, she focuses on cancer, cholesterol, chronic fatigue, digestive issues and high blood pressure. Consultations, assistance with meal planning and personal shopping are available for all ages.
A strong emphasis on increasing self-awareness and self-acceptance will be included. Having fun and finding balance is also important in reaching your nutrition goals, according to Goldweber. “I have found that gratitude at the forefront allows for you to achieve your greatest potential and highest quality of life. You are the expert of your own body and you know what is helpful as well as harmful,” she said. Customers have a chance to meet Goldweber prior to scheduling an appointment. Nature’s Food Patch is hosting “Meet the Nutritionist” on Saturday, September 17th and Sunday, September 18th from 11 am to 2 pm.
