On Saturday, October 8, 2016 from 10:00 to 4:00 pm, artists in North Pinellas County (Dunedin, Palm Harbor, and Clearwater) areas are opening their home studios to the public. You can enjoy demonstrations of how they create their work and buy directly from the artist. Plein air (painting outdoors) painters and muralists will be working at select locations.
Participating artists are: Amy Wiley, Silversmith; Connie Parkinson, Lampworking/Glass Bead Making; David Lawrence, Photographic Artwork & Murals; Glenn Woods and Keith Herbrand, Handmade Pottery; Carol Sackman and Blake White, Mosaics/Painted Furniture/Vintage Button Jewelry; Jenna Star Friedman, Plein Air Painter; Debra Thomas-Weible, Watercolor; Steve Spathelf, Murals, Trompe L’oeil & Faux Finishes; Ernest C. Simmons, Florida Wildlife Artist; Holly Bird, Traditional Printmaking & Illustration; Candy Schultheis, Paintings/Pastels/Oils/Charcoal; Lorraine Potocki, Pastel & Acrylic Painting; Pam Pawl, Handwoven Textiles; Robert Sutherland, Oil and Casein Painting “Quads – A New Spin on Art”.
The tour is free and you can start at any location visiting as many of the studios as you’d like.
