The National Softball Association will host the 2019 Iron Women youth softball tournament on Saturday and Sunday, May 4 and 5, at the Eddie C. Moore Complex at 3050 Drew St. in Clearwater. The event will be a 3 seed into double elimination event with the first-place teams winning bat packs!
The National Softball Association (NSA) is a sports governing body specializing in Fastpitch and Slowpitch Softball. It was founded in 1982 in Lexington, Kentucky by Hugh Cantrell. NSA focuses on giving softball teams the best experience possible on and off the diamond by putting the teams and players first. Over the years NSA has held events in all 50 states, Canada, Guam, Puerto Rico, Mexico, The Bahamas, Russia and Holland. It hosts major softball competition throughout the United States.
