NSA “A” World Series Brings Fastpitch to the Area

 

The NSA “A” World Series fastpitch softball tournament will bring a lot of excitement to the area the week of July 17 to 22. The event will be a five (5) game format with early seed play games at the nine fields in the Eddie C. Moore Softball Complex and the Sid Lickton Complex in Clearwater, Vaneck Park in Dunedin, and the R.O.C. Softball Complex in Madeira Beach. Participants will range in age from 8 to 18. Games are open to the public.

The format will be a two-game seed play beginning July 18 with teams advancing to a double elimination game tournament bracket. All the teams will join on the evening of Wednesday, July 18, at Spectrum Field in Clearwater with a party for all participants, crowing on Miss NSA for all age divisions, the $500 scholarship and team pin swap.  Preregistration is required by July 9 for the World Series Party.
