PARC hosts its 4th Annual Top Chefs Event fundraiser on Saturday, September 15 in St. Petersburg. This year’s event, to be held at The Birchwood at 340 Beach Dr. NE, promises to offer delicious fare from top local restaurants prepared by some of the area’s best chefs as they partner with participants in the PARC Culinary Program. The innovative training program educates and supports individuals with developmental disabilities in their quest to seek future job opportunities in local hospitality positions and helps lay out the steps necessary to pursue a career in the industry.

Restaurants participating in the 4th Annual Top Chefs event as well as this year’s fundraiser include Birch and Vine, Guppy’s on the Beach, Rusty’s Bistro, the Galley, and for the first time, Bloomin’ Brands. Each chef will represent a restaurant brand including Outback Steakhouse, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Bonefish Grill and Fleming’s. During the evening, chefs will be paired with a PARC Culinary Program student to design a menu selection, prepare and serve the dish to fundraiser guests.
St. Petersburg-based dessert bar (swah-rey) will provide desserts, and Allison Kropff from WTSP 10 News will serve as emcee for the evening’s
festivities. Individual tickets are $125 and include food, open bar drinks, desserts and the opportunity to bid on live auction items and raffle prizes. Tickets can be purchased on the PARC website. Proceeds from the 4th Annual Top Chefs Event special evening will directly benefit the Culinary Program.
