Attracts Top Senior Pro Bowlers

Maple Countryside Lanes will host the PBA50 Johnny Petraglia BVL Open, presented by Lucas Magazine & Brunswick from Sunday, April 14, through Wednesday, April 17. The event is open to all participants of at least 50 years of age and in good USBC member standing. Johnny Petraglia, a member of the PBA and USBC Halls of Fame, will be available throughout the event. After Practice and Pro-Am rounds on Sunday, qualifying rounds are set for Monday and Tuesday before Wednesday’s Stepladder Finals. All cashers, including super senior cashers (Ages 60+) advance to the final day. Top prize money $7500 with $4000 for second place. The lowest award to cashers below 24th place is $1000. 

The Bowlers to Veterans Link (BVL) is a national nonprofit charity (501(c)3) that supports America’s veteran and active duty service men and women through myriad recreational therapy programs and services to speed recuperation and boost morale to brighten their lives. Founded in 1942, BVL is the sport of bowling’s oldest and most successful charity – raising over $50 million for this cause. Maple Countryside Lanes is located at 27867 US Highway 19 N in Clearwater.
