Poet Laureate Helen Pruitt Wallace will host poetry at the Dali Every 2nd Thursday. This will be an ongoing series hosted by St. Petersburg Poet Laureate Helen Wallace at the Poet Laureate Helen Pruitt Wallace at the Dali Museum. She is joined by selected poets from 6 to 7:30 on the second Thursday of each month through May 20. Following the presentation, there will be an opportunity for audience members to participate in a question and answer session. Cost for these special events is free for members, and parking is free after 5 p.m. as available.
Helen Pruitt Wallace serves as Poet Laureate of St. Petersburg. She received a Florida Book Award for Shimming the Glass House, her first collection of poems, which was chosen for the 2007 Richard Snyder Prize, and published by Ashland Poetry Press.
