Beloved Safety Harbor Wine Festival Returns for Another Pour

by Chris Kuhn

After a year’s absence, one of Safety Harbor’s signature events returns. The 19th Annual Safety Harbor Wine Festival is back in action in the City’s popular business district on Saturday, November 6, 2021. The community and surrounding Bay area neighbors are invited to come out to downtown Safety Harbor’s Main Street between  Bayshore Blvd. and 6th Av. for a fun evening of live music and other entertainment, arts and crafts, food and commercial vendors, and of course, plenty of wine (and wine tastings) as well as craft beers.

L:ive entertainment comes to the Safety Harbor Wine Festival

This year’s live entertainment includes Soul Circus Cowboys (LEFT), Jeriko Turnpike, Sebastian Project Band and DJ Doug from Studio 10.

The Safety Harbor Wine Festival first launched in 2002 and has drawn as many as 12,000 attendees in the past. This year’s festivities are scheduled to run from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Admission is free.

Guests at the Safety Harbor Wine Festival will be asked to present proper ID when making any wine or beer purchases. Historically, the festival has donated a portion of the event’s proceeds to support area nonprofits. This year’s beneficiaries have yet to be announced.
