This weekend, the Morton Plant Mease Foundation holds its annual Rock the Ribbon event, a series of family-friendly 5K, 10K and Kids Dash races to benefit the prostate and breast cancer programs of Morton Plant Mease.
The event, scheduled Saturday, September 7, kicks off at 6 p.m. and launches from the Morton Plant Hospital campus and sends participants across Clearwater Memorial Causeway and back. For more information, click here.
Morton Plant Mease Foundation has left its mark on the Bay area through its philanthropic efforts and community campaigns for well over four decades.
The nonprofit arm for Morton Plant Hospital, Mease-Dunedin, Mease-Countryside and Morton Plant North Bay has worked closely with each of its communities to develop close relationships and find different ways to form meaningful partnerships and make a difference. Last year, the Foundation raised for the combined hospitals’ $8 million to fund 35 programs and 22 capital projects.
