Sips Under the Sea will be a special event held this Friday, July 26 at the Florida Aquarium. They host a unique cocktail after-hours program for adults 21 and older. The Sips Under the Sea runs from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. A ticket to this special event offers guests the evening’s signature cocktail, appetizers and the opportunity to roam the Aquarium’s galleries featuring over 14,000 aquatic residents. The Florida Marine Aquarium is a Gem to Visit in Tampa Bay!
The Florida Aquarium has been mesmerizing local families and visitors from across the world since opening its doors back in 1995. The popular Tampa Bay attraction, located at 701 Channelside Drive, has been named one of the top 10 aquariums in the country by various sites and magazines including both Trip Advisor and Working Mother.
Throughout its nearly 25 years of operation, the nonprofit has seen a variety of upgrades and renovations including the addition of a “Dive with the Sharks” program, a $1.3 million “Explore A Shore” addition in 2003 and the opening of its 4-D Theater in fall 2017.
In addition to its efforts to educate and intrigue visitors about underwater life and its ecology, The Florida Aquarium has become a community partner holding a variety of events to gather people with similar interests and objectives.
