St. Pete Art Museums Offer Exhibits

St. Pete’s Art Museums are offering a variety of exciting exhibits this summer. Most will continue throughout July and well beyond. The Dali will be showing “Clyde Butcher: Visions of Dali’s Spain,” an interpretive visit by the great Florida photographer to Dali’s homeland on display through November 25. The Morean Arts Center will have a special Pop-Up Show through July 18, with works by six quality LGBTQ artists in honor of St. Pete’s Gay Pride celebration.

Storytellers at the Chihuly Collection, a narrative driven glass exhibition is on display at the Chihuly Collection. “Ten Trends” is the name of an exhibit of the works of ten artists that explore the future of glass as a means of artistic expression opening July 1 at Imagine Museum. The Museum of Fine Arts will continue its “Magnetic Fields” exhibit through August 5. The exhibition is dedicated solely to African-American women working in Abstract Art with 45 abstract paintings, sculptures and works on papers by 21 accomplished artists.
