The St. Petersburg Opera Company will present Mozart’s Don Giovanni on Friday, Oct. 19, at 7:30 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 21, at 2 p.m. and Tuesday, Oct. 23, at 7:30 p.m. at the Palladium Theater in St. Pete. The opera will be sung in Italian, with English Projections above the stage. The Palladium Theater is located at 253 5th Ave N on the campus of St. Petersburg College. Mozart’s popular opera is often referred to as a dramma giocoso, a theatrical coup that blends serious and comic action—with terrifying supernatural elements all set to Mozart’s immortal and whip-smart score, and you have an evening of great entertainment crossed with moral rectitude.
