Tampa’s Gasparilla Music Festival promotes local Musicians and Music Education for Kids. The 2020 Gasparilla Music Festival is set for Saturday and Sunday, March 7 and 8, at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park and Kiley Gardens Park in Tampa presented by Cigar City Brewing.

Bradi Carlile at Tampa’s Gasparilla Music Festival promotes local Musicians and Music Education for Kids.  The 2020 Gasparilla Music Festival is set for Saturday and Sunday, March 7 and 8, at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park and Kiley Gardens Park in Tampa presented by Cigar City Brewing.

The annual event is organized by the non-profit Gasparilla Music Foundation in Downtown Tampa each second weekend of March. The event supports and promotes local musicians and bands and features over 40 musical acts from a wide a wide variety of genres on five stages and offers cuisine and beverages from the region’s top restaurants. Gates open at 11 a.m., with a continuous schedule of live music from noon to 10 p.m. (Brandi Carlile plays on Saturday evening -LEFT)

A complete performance schedule for the Tampa’s Gasparilla Music Festival is available online at GasparillaMusicFestival.com, as are tickets, beginning at $40 for one day or $60 for both days of the event. Rival Sons-at Tampa’s Gasparilla Music Festival

Funds raised by the Tampa’s Gasparilla Music Festival event support music education throughout its Recycled Tunes program. The mission of Recycled Tunes is to enrich the lives of underserved and impoverished children in Tampa Bay by ensuring access to musical instruments. Students also have performance opportunities on the festival stages in front of large crowds. (LEFT-Rival Sons)

Discord Theory lays at Gaparilla Music Festival in downdown Tampa

Recycled Tunes has several instrument drives throughout the year. The collected instruments are refurbished by a local music store, Tampa’s Don Banks Music, and then donated to local schools and other music programs. In 2015, Tampa’s Gasparilla Music Festival and Recycled Tunes announced a partnership with Little Kids Rock, a national organization dedicated to providing underserved schoolchildren across the U.S. access to fun, engaging, Modern Band music classes and brand new instruments at no cost to the students, teachers, or school districts. The Gasparilla Music Foundation was founded in 2011 with financial support from several Tampa Bay area based businesses and the organization’s founding members, The Ring of Fire. The founder’s circle of the Gasparilla Music Foundation consists of community leaders, area professionals and music enthusiasts with the common goal of creating a signature music event in Tampa Bay. March 7-8, 2020!

Event Details: The gate will open on Saturday March 7th and 8 at 11:30 a.m.. The event closes on Saturday at 11 p.m. and Sunday at 9 p.m. It will be located at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, and Kiley Gardens Park in Downtown Tampa at 600 N Ashley Drive, Tampa, Florida 33602
