The 5th Annual Stars and Stripes Celebration to Benefit Armed Forces History Museum

Presented By Bright House Networks…

Proceeds Benefit the Armed Forces History Museum and the American Red Cross of Central Florida

Swing into the St Petersburg Coliseum next Saturday, October 1st, the St. Petersburg Coliseum will be filled with guests excited to go back in time and salute our troops as Bright House Networks presents the 5th Annual Stars & Stripes USA Celebration.  VIP’s will be admitted at 7pm for a pre-event dinner and GA’s will be admitted at 8pm.  Tickets are still available by calling 727.539.8371, by visiting armedforcesmuseum.com or in person at the museum.  Those wishing to purchase tickets the night of the event may do so at the St. Petersburg Coliseum box office.

Now in its 5th year, this Armed Forces History Museum and Swing Gang-produced event is a spectacular big band show and dance featuring the 20-piece G.I. Joe Big Band, Lori Haffer, The Andrews Sisters, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, the Modernaires, Marilyn Monroe and Captain America.  The event will also offer a 1940s vintage outfit contest, taxi dancers throughout the night, a photo booth, dance lessons, performers, era actors, the Bomber Girls and WWII re-enactors.  Proceeds from a  grand auction raffle featuring great prizes will benefit the event’s Spirit of America partner, the American Red Cross of Central Florida.

In an effort to assist other worthwhile veteran organizations, the museum has invited the Veterans Art Center of Tampa Bay, Heaven Dropt, Pinellas Veterans Association, Civil Air Patrol Reach Across America, Honor Flight and the American Red Cross of Central Florida to have a presence in the Coliseum’s alcoves.

Associate sponsors include Clearwater Toyota, George Franklin Insurance, Great Bay Distributors/Budweiser, the Florida Restaurant Purchasing Group and the Tampa Bay Times.
