The Coliseum

The Coliseum in St Pete

The historic Coliseum became a part of the St. Petersburg landscape in 1924. Over the years, the venue, once called ‘the South’s finest ballroom,’ has undergone a variety of renovations over the years through the City’s own purchase of the space in 1989. With its unique architecture, pristine oak dance floor, and central location in the heart of downtown St. Pete, the Coliseum has become a popular venue and offers valuable multi-use space for a range of events for everything from fundraisers, concerts, tradeshows and weddings to galas, proms, sock hops and sporting events, and can accommodate as many as 2,000 people inside its walls.
