To Perform in Tarpon Springs Sunset Beach Concert Series

The Shakes Society performed on Thursday, Aug. 1 for a free concert in Tarpon Springs as a part of the Sunset Beach Concert Series.
Head out to Sunset Beach in Tarpon Springs on the first Thursday of every month for great live music overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, sponsored by the Tarpon Springs Department of Parks and Recreation. If the concert is rained out on the scheduled date, The Shakes Society will return to perform on the following Thursday evening.
The Shakes Society is a seven-piece (sometimes more) band playing everything from rock to reggae. The group specializes in dance and party material, ensuring fans have the best time ever when they come to see The Shakes play.
They feature a four-part horn section (Sax, Trumpet and Trombone) in addition to three-part vocal harmonies and a song selection that keeps fans singing along, dancing and having the time of their lives.
The Shakes Society calls nearby Dunedin home. They have been around since 1983, playing everything from large concerts to small parties, festivals, clubs and corporate jobs.
