The St Petersburg Astronomy Club (SPAC) & Stargazing Night

The St. Petersburg Astronomy Club, Inc (SPAC) has been a local fixture for over 90 years. Founded in 1927 and established as a nonprofit in 1979, the organization has been providing opportunities for science fans with group sky watching opportunities and free educational programs for members and the public. Member for the St Petersburg Astronomy Club are held at the St. Petersburg College, Gibbs Campus, on the fourth Friday monthly (except November and December, when meetings are held on the third Friday).

The group holds one of its community Stargazing Nights tonight, Thursday, July 11 at 7:30 p.m. which meets up at the East Lake Community Library in Palm Harbor. The event is free and open to the public. For more information, click here.
