Unique Camp for Kids

Hands-on Environmental Experience

Clearwater Marine Aquarium’s award-winning “Summer with Winter” Camp Program is a hands-on environmental education experience for students, from kindergarten through 10th grade. Each day of these weeklong camps, students embark on their own instructive coastal adventure, customized for their learning level and selected subject matter.

Whether it is learning about Florida’s watershed on a nature hike, discovering the sea grass beds and other underwater habitats through snorkeling, or coming face to bottlenose with one of Clearwater Marine Aquarium’s rescued resident dolphins, campers learn by doing in this unique marine-based atmosphere.  Clearwater Marine Aquarium also instills our passion for marine life preservation, a take-home message that has a lasting impact on the camper, the environment and the world.

Clearwater Marine Aquarium’s “Summer with Winter” Camp Program runs weekly, from June 2 to August 15.  The majority of camps are half-day experiences, but campers can combine a morning and afternoon session for a full day of fun.  Camp selections include animal interaction programs, snorkeling and boating excursions, kayaking instruction and adventures, and travel and hiking experiences.

Clearwater Marine Aquarium also offers camps during the school year, including Sea Monster Mash in October, A Cornucopia of Creatures in November, Holiday Mini-Camps in December and January, and Spring into Science in March. Come visit Winter and all of her rescued friends anytime throughout the Year! Special discounts are available for Clearwater Marine Aquarium members.
