‘Voice of Entertainment’ Terry Fator

In Las Vegas, where he’s in his 7th  headlining season at the Mirage, Terry Fator is known as “The Voice of Entertainment.” That’s because his voice is an incredibly versatile instrument – he’s a comedian, ventriloquist, singer and unparalleled celebrity impersonator, all at the same time. With his show “It Starts Tonight,” Terry Fator makes a triumphant return to to The Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts – Mahaffey Theater Sunday, Jan. 29 at 7 p.m.

His zany cast of one-of-a-kind characters includes Winston the Impersonating Turtle, World’s Greatest Elvis Impersonator Maynard Thompkins, Walter T. Airdale, Duggie Scott Walker, tween Emma Taylor and lots of others.  He burst onto the national scene after winning America’s Got Talent in 2007 (despite the fact Winston said he won it for Terry).  A native of Texas, Terry spent over 20 years on the road performing at everything from schools to county fairs before becoming a Vegas headliner. Terry admits that he owes his success to that program: “Let’s just say that if I hadn’t won, right now I’d be the most talented singing ventriloquist pumping gas in Corsicana, Texas,” he says.  Tickets may be purchased online at themahaffey.com, charge by phone at 727.893.7832 or in person at The Mahaffey Theater Box Office.
