Women Contemporary Artists and Inspirations

Artful Holidays Party

Celebrate the Season with Two Exhibits and a Holiday Party at ArtCenter Manatee.  The Women Contemporary Artists and Inspirations, an open, all media juried show, and the Annual ArtFul Holidays Party & Sale in the Artists’ Market.

The Women Contemporary Artists and Inspirations exhibit will be on display December 4 through January 11 with the Opening Reception and the kick off to the Artful Holidays Party and Sale on Thursday, December 6, at 5:00-7:00 p.m.

In the Kellogg Gallery, they will  feature the work of Women Contemporary Artists (WCA). WCA is a strong, regional organization of over 100 vibrant, professional women actively engaged in the visual fine arts, based in Sarasota. Their mission is to provide visibility, encouragement and inspiration to women artists. WCA seeks to educate the general public about past and present contributions of women artists and to insure the inclusion of women in the history of art.

In the Searle and Reid Hodges Galleries we’ll feature the all media work of some of our very talented local artists in Inspirations, a juried exhibit. This show will feature painting, sculpture, jewelry, pottery and mixed media.

The opening reception will also kick-off their annual ArtFul Holidays Party & Sale in the Artists’ Market. The sale will continue on Friday & Saturday, December 7th & 8th from 9:00-5:00 p.m. Join them as they toast the season and celebrate the visual arts and the local artists.
